Katseye is set to release their third EP titled "WILD" on August 14, as confirmed by HYBE and Geffen Records. This upcoming album marks the group's return after a hiatus of one year and two months since their last EP, "Beautiful Chaos," which was released in June 2025. The announcement follows their recent performance at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, where they showcased several tracks, including "Gnarly," "Gameboy," "Gabriela," and their latest single "Pinky Up." Released on April 9, "Pinky Up" quickly gained traction, reaching No. 13 on Spotify's Daily Top Song Global chart and No. 10 on the Daily Top Song USA by April 12, amassing 18.1 million streams across Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music within just four days.
During their Coachella set, Katseye also performed "Golden," a song from Netflix's popular animated series "K-Pop Demon Hunters," alongside the voices of the fictional girl group HUNTR/X. Katseye was formed through the global audition project "The Debut: Dream Academy" in 2023 and made their official debut in the United States in June 2024. The group gained recognition in the global music scene following the success of their tracks "Gnarly" and "Gabriela," both of which appeared on the US Billboard Hot 100 main songs chart in 2018. Katseye consists of six members: Lara, Sophia, Daniela, Manon, Yoonchae, and Megan, although Manon is currently on hiatus.
