Korean band LUCY has released the trailer for their second full album, 'Childish'

The band LUCY is set to release their second full-length album titled 'Childish,' which symbolizes a return to childhood innocence. The announcement was made by their agency, Mystic Story, on April 22, 2026, through a trailer posted on LUCY's official social media, illustrating a journey back to 'LUCY ISLAND.' The trailer features a Rube Goldberg machine operated by Shin Gwang-il alongside his bandmates Shin Ye-chan, Choi Sang-yeop, and Cho Won-sang, who engage in nostalgic games devoid of expression. As the machine operates, the train from the album cover dramatically bursts through a wall, infusing color into a previously monochromatic setting.

With 'Childish,' LUCY aims to mark a new chapter in their career, particularly highlighted by Shin Gwang-il's return from military service. This album is their first full-group release in over a year and eight months and includes 15 tracks, led by the title track 'All Access.' The album's production was overseen by Cho Won-sang, who has been involved in every LUCY album since their inception, with contributions from the other members in terms of lyrics and composition. This album also incorporates new songs featuring Shin Gwang-il's vocals from their sixth and seventh mini-albums.

To promote their comeback, LUCY will host a special busking event titled 'LUCY 2ND FULL ALBUM Childish SPECIAL BUSKING' on the 25th at 3 PM in Seoul, with the location to be disclosed shortly before the event. The official release of 'Childish' is scheduled for 6 p.m. on the 29th on various music platforms, followed by their solo concert 'LUCY 9th CONCERT ISLAND' at the KSPO Dome in Olympic Park, Seoul, on May 16 and 17.
